With a welcoming and inviting environment, a wide array of mouthwatering food, and the best ambiance on this side of Grand, you have gotta give this place a try! You'll be back again and again.
Best corn beef hash in town, hands down!!
The first thing I ever had here was this delectable masterpiece! I had to try other dishes which were all amazing.... but when I sink my teeth into this I can't help but salivate!!! Tremendous!
This food is to die for. Hard to find home cooking quality like this on the West coast but Rosie constantly delivers. Always stop when in town for great breakfast & conversation.
Rosie's cafe is da bomb! I tried a handful of dishes and all were amazing! The owner is one of the hardest working women you will ever meet with a heart of gold too! Got that Jersey hustle :)
Rose's Cafe is a small town local treasure in Escondido California. We were very satisfied with the nice selection of delicious food, reasonable prices, and large portions. The owner (Kaitlyn Rose Pilsbury) and her staff made us feel like family. While visiting California, we drove up from San Diego and it was well worth the trip for such a memorable experience. The personal touch and genuine customer service has put Rosie's Cafe on the top of my list anytime I am within 100 miles. Thank you Rosie's Cafe, I look forward to the next time I am in the area.
What can I say? The breakfast was wonderful! What we appreciated was that this was a different take on what we've come to expect from Huevos Rancheros. The dish was not overly cheesy (I think maybe a sprinkling of cojita), the salsa used fresh ingredients, including raw onions which gave the dish a bit of a bite. The eggs and blue tortilla chips were nestled on a bed of sweet-smoky bacon, and there was a lovely (slightly spicy) cream sauce lightly drizzled over the eggs . But the nicest part was that when we placed our order (one dish to share), the server offered to have the kitchen split the dish. Didn't expect this (wouldn't have requested--after all, this is just a diner!). Yet I believe the server was right. It would have been hard to split the dish ourselves because the plating was so beautiful. Fresh, delicious, gorgeously plated--at a diner in downtown Escondido? Seriously? Yes, seriously. Two thumbs up for sure. Next visit we plan on trying the Cauliflower-Jalapeno-Macaroni and Cheese. We hear it's pretty amazing.
